Nowadays, smart automation tools are need in order to reduce the impact of our lives in the natural environment. To reach this target and reduce our waste of resources, it is crucial to create smart edge solutions able to both transmit data to the cloud for strategic analysis and take small decisions locally.
In this scenario the best possible result is to permit people without any particular programming skill to define the decisional algorithms. One of the most promising solutions is Node-RED which can be integrated in a very simple standard IoT gateway enabling the smart decision which reduce our impact.
On DAVE Embedded Systems' IoT gateway, Node-RED runs easily and permits to define simple algorithms using a graphical user interface that can be used by any people to make greener their jobs and their applications!
