9 October 2024
October started full of international events for DAVE Embedded Systems. A series of important events where we had the opportunity to meet our partners and discover the latest innovations in the embedded and AI sector.
On 1 October, we were in Frankfurt at the AMD Adaptive Computing Summit, an event focused on the latest innovations in AMD adaptive SoCs, FPGAs and embedded processors, where attendees were able to explore the capabilities of the new AMD Versal™ SoC, Spartan™ UltraScale+™ FPGA, and Ryzen™ and EPYC™ embedded processors. The event included in-depth technical sessions on Vivado™ and Vitis™ design tools, as well as training on AI applications and more advanced embedded solutions.
From 1 to 4 October, we travelled to nearby Trieste, where we attended the Big Science Business Forum 2024, a key event that connects European industry with the largest scientific organisations. With over 1,000 participants, the forum is the meeting point to discuss business opportunities related to 'Big Science' and research projects in areas such as nuclear physics, space sciences and large-scale scientific infrastructure.
On 8 October, it was the turn of the London leg of the AMD Adaptive Computing Summit, part of AMD's European tour. It was an intensive training day that focused on new adaptive SoCs, FPGAs and embedded processors, similar to those presented in Frankfurt, but with different technical sessions. DAVE Embedded Systems took advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the latest technological innovations, especially related to Artificial Intelligence applications, which will impact the future of embedded solutions.
Next stop will be the NXP Tech Day in Milan on 22 October. The global training event organised by our technical partner NXP and aimed at engineers working on innovative solutions in the automotive, mobile, smart home, communication infrastructure, smart city and industrial sectors.
Stay tuned!
