Return material authorization

This is the DAVE Embedded Systems' Return Material Authorization form. If you want to ask a new Return Material Authorization please fill the form below. After the submission, a ticket will be assigned. Our technicians may ask for clarification via helpdesk email. Once approved a RMA number will be provided and you will be entitled to ship us the material.

How does the RMA service work?

DAVE Embedded Systems has a consolidated Return Material Authorization (RMA) management flow that is used

  • to authorize the return of material that has had problems in the field
  • authorize the return of material subject to potential incoming Non-Conformities detected by the customer
  • manage and track the material returned by the customer during the development phases of a new product

The RMA request must always be made through the form on the site providing the requested information.

Once the request has been sent, you will receive a confirmation of receipt from the site. This automatic process generates an internal management ticket to DAVE Embedded Systems which will subsequently analyze the validity of the request with a technical sales team. In this phase, the intervention of the customer is often also required and is contacted via the helpdesk to provide further clarifications.

Once the return is authorized, it is managed by the warehouse and by the repair department which, thanks to the RMA number, is able to track and carry out the required activities.

The process at this point may undergo variations depending on whether the reported problem is reproducible or not - consequently the repair times can also vary significantly.

DAVE Embedded Systems also offers on-time repair services. In such cases, an agreement is drawn up to define the methods of repairing and restoring the devices as well as the presence of buffers of ready-to-use materials. For more information on this subject please do not hesitate to contact us.
