Processor: NXP i.MX93x
AURA SOM is a System On Module by DAVE Embedded Systems, it is based on the NXP i.MX93x application processor. This System On Module is designed in continuity within the NXP i.MX6 and NXP i.MX8M products from DAVE Embedded Systems. AURA SOM is compatible with those solutions providing the possibility to design flexible and scalable solutions. 15years minimum availability completes the logical requirement for reliable and long life industrial applications.
AURA SOM has a complete suite of pheripherals and internal processing units. The micro NPU integrated and the security enclave enable Machine Learning inferences and secure connected applications.
AURA SOM is designed taking into account the NXP i.MX93 isolation of power domains between real time and application processors. This feature permits to design industrial application where it is really possible to integrate together deterministic and non-deterministic application simplifying the overall embedded design.
AURA SOM is integrated in ToloMEO. ToloMEO is DAVE Embedded Systems' answer for Edge Data Orchestration and Industry 5.0. With ToloMEO, AURA SOM is natively connected to cloud enabling the opportunity to develop data collection and remote OTA updates through the IoT Module; to integrate Machine Learning Algorithms running on the internal Neural Processing Unit (Using the ML module); to handle edge activities within a Blockchain for managing Digital contracts or simple transactions (BC module); to ensure cyber security protection through VCE monitoring and Safety Patch applications; last but not least (Security module); to manage the product life cycle and the BSP design through the Embedded Manager module
AURA SOM is specifically designed for industrial and healthcare applications. With ToloMEO, AURA SOM is the answer for designing a perfect fleet of edge devices compliant within the standard regulations for data security and protection.
