ETRA SBC is part of DAVE Embedded Systems'portfolio of Single Board Computer solutions it is based on ETRA SOM System On Module based on ST Microelectronics's System On Chip. ETRA SBC Single Board Computer has a 4 Modules DIN Bar and can be configured in order to be boxed with a finished product shape. This Single Board Computed is designed for long-term availability within the industrial qualification. EU or other countries' official certification is an optional for this Single Board Computer.
The ETRA SBC Single Board Computer has a wide range of peripherals available: EThernet 10/100Mbps, USB Host and device, SD card and power supply 12-24V. On the other side SBC Lynx has couple of DB9 or screw terminal connectors for RS232/RS485 and CAN interface. Included on the solution there are several expansion connectors for WIFI adapter, and expansion cards were it is possible to add relais, Analog to digital converters etc .
The Single Board Computer hosts onboard the ETRA SBC System On module integrates which integrates a dedicated Cortex-M4 for real time applications and up to 1GB RAM size and eMMC for several GB storage size. The ETRA SBC Single Board Computer has a number of expansion connectors useful also as an evaluation kit for the ETRA SOM System On module.
ETRA SBC System On Module is designed for industrial application. It can be provided with an enclosure and it is suitable for EU or other countries certification. DAVE Embedded Systems is available for the support you on this topic.
The ETRA SBC Single Board Computer is provided within a Software Development Kit which enable customers to get complete control of the board. The Software Development Kit is called DESK DAVE Embedded Software Kit and it is based on the ST Microelectronics official Software Development Kits.
DESK provides access to the source code of both the bootloader and the Linux Kernel.
